KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is offering free events this month.
On Thursday, the museum's free lunchtime art short film series, Talking Pictures, presents "Sister Wendy." Sister Wendy is the art historian and nun whose TV series was popular in the 1990s. The 12:15 p.m. film, about her tour of Europe, is in connection with the temporary exhibit "The Collector's Eye: American and European Art from the McClung Museum."
The exhibit runs through Aug. 24.
On Sunday, a free tour of the "Collector's Eye" exhibit gallery is set for 2 p.m., beginning in the museum lobby.
A free stroller tour is set for Monday for parents and caregivers with toddlers or babies. The event is from 10 to 11 a.m.
