Mississippi has second-highest energy costs in nation

Mississippi is the second most expensive state to live in when it comes to the cost of energy a survey by the website WalletHub says.

According to WalletHub, the average monthly energy cost is $414 in Mississippi, second only to Hawaii's $451. Colorado is the least expensive at $301. Mississippians have the fourth-best deal on natural gas, $32,  but rank next to last when it comes to month fuel cost, $247.
