Chattanooga pinch-hitter Chris O'Brien delivered a walk-off, two-run double in the bottom of the ninth inning, giving the Lookouts a 5-4 win over the Huntsville Stars on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Field.
With the Stars leading 4-2 in the bottom of the ninth, Bobby Coyle and O'Koyea Dickson produced back-to-back singles off Stars pitcher Kevin Shackelford. Angel Sanchez then executed a sacrifice bunt advancing the runners to second and third base with one out.
Tim Dillard came in relief to face pinch-hitter Daniel Mayora. Mayora rapped an RBI single to left field, scoring Coyle making it 4-3.
O'Brien came off the Lookouts bench and came through with a two-run double over right-fielder Josh Prince's head.
Dillard (4-1), who gave up the game winning hit, suffered his first loss of the year.
Chattanooga got a pair of solo home runs early in the game from Dickson and Coyle against Stars pitcher Eric Marzec to take a 2-1 lead.
The Stars, who led briefly 1-0 after the top of the fourth, regained the lead in the seventh inning against pitcher Tyson Brummett. The Stars strung together five consecutive hits against Brumett. With runners at first and third base, Prince bunted for an infield hit, scoring Shea Vucinich to tie the game at 2-2.
Nick Shaw roped an RBI single to right-center field, scoring Nick Ramirez.
