BILOXI -- Chett Harrison is the new general manager of Golden Nugget Biloxi after Jim Hoskins was promoted to divisional vice president of gaming for Golden Nugget casinos.
Anthony Carlucci, who worked with Harrison at Boomtown Biloxi, is taking over as general manager of Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis and Boomtown Biloxi.
"The Golden Nugget Biloxi is the Gulf Coast star of our growing gaming company and we are lucky to have someone with Chett's experience joining our organization," said Tilman Fertitta, the company's chairman and CEO.
Hoskins said, "Chett is my hand-picked successor. His experience and local roots to the community make him a perfect fit for our company."
Hoskins is a native of Pascagoula and a graduate of Pascagoula High School.
He was named general manager of Golden Nugget Biloxi in January 2013 and oversaw the $100 million renovation and expansion of the resort.
He was general manager of Grand Casino Gulfport and Harrah's New Orleans. He also worked at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino and Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
Harrison has been with Penn National for 13 years, starting in 2001 as director of marketing at Boomtown Biloxi.
Most recently, he was vice president and general manager of Boomtown Biloxi and Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis.
He is a Mississippi native and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He has also worked at Copa Casino in Gulfport, Sands Regency Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nev., and Palace Casino Biloxi.
Carlucci had served as the assistant general manager at Boomtown Biloxi and as general manager of Hollywood Casino Tunica.
Most recently, he was general manager of Hollywood Casino St. Louis.
