Bond set for teenagers in fatal shooting

— Bond has been set at $250,000 each for three teenagers arrested in a fatal shooting Saturday of a Centreville man.

The Enterprise-Journal reports ( ) the three — ages 18, 16 and 14 — appeared Monday before Centreville Municipal Court Judge Shep Crawford. Charges include capital murder and conspiracy.

Police Chief Jimmy Ray Reese says 18-year-old Darrius Morris died from a gunshot wound to the head about 3 a.m. Saturday.

Reese says investigators believe the shooting was the result of an argument.

Officers arrested all three teens not long after the incident. They remained in the Amite County jail Wednesday.
