Moss Point shooting investigation under way

MOSS POINT -- Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that seriously wounded a man, Moss Point city representative Kevin Raymond said.

The shooting was reported at 9:55 p.m. in the 4000 block of Max Street, which is near Mississippi 63 and Frederick Street.

The shooter has been identified, but remains at large, Raymond said.

The wounded man was taken to Singing River Hospital's intensive care unit, Raymond said. No other details have been released.
