NEWPORT, R.I. — Woody Allen is bringing a little Hollywood glamor to Rhode Island.
The director is filming his newest movie in the Ocean State, and was spotted Monday in Newport, where he was filming at a pub and a theater.
Steven Feinberg, executive director of the state's Film & TV Office, tells The Newport Daily News that Allen will be filming until the end of August entirely in Rhode Island, including in Providence.
The name of the movie hasn't been released yet, but it stars Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix. Stone was among those seen at the filming Monday, as was actress Parker Posey.
