SAUCIER -- A Friday-night fire heavily damaged a one-story home here that was being renovated, Harrison County Fire Marshal Pat Sullivan said.

The fire was reported just after 10 p.m. July 4 on West Third Street. Four trucks and 12 firefighters from Saucier, Lizana and Harrison County fire services responded, and it took about 20 minutes to get the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation Saturday.
