Saucier man accused in shooting

HARRISON COUNTY -- Deputies arrested a Saucier man Wednesday who reportedly shot another man during a fight on his property the day before.

Sheriff's Maj. Ron Pullen said Harry Jonaaron Davidson, 25, of the 19000 block of Wallace Way, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault for a fight in the 18000 block of Pineridge Trail.

Pullen said the argument started just before 8 p.m. Tuesday when Davidson accused several people of being on his property.

Pullen said Davidson, after arguing with the people, went to his house, got a handgun and returned to confront them. The argument escalated, Pullen said, and Davidson shot a 23-year-old man in the back of the head.

The man was taken to an area hospital, treated for non-life-threatening injuries and was released, Pullen said.

Pullen said when Davidson returned to his home during the argument he called the sheriff's office and was told by a dispatcher to remain inside, but instead went back to confront the people with the gun.

He was held at the Harrison County jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner.
