BAY ST. LOUIS -- Bay BridgeFest music festival returns Sept. 12 and 13 and will be held in the new Bay St. Louis Municipal Harbor. The weekend event features a mix of national and regional performing acts.

This year's lineup will include the North Mississippi Allstars as the headlining act, as well as Flathead Ford, the Rochelle Harper Band, The Iguanas and the Joe Krown Trio, featuring Walter "Wolfman" Washington and Russell Batiste.

Admission is free Friday, and $12 for adults and $5 for children to age 12 Saturday.

Festival times are 7 to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 12 and 7 to 11 p.m. Sept. 13. A morning race event is being planned for Sept. 12, with details to follow.

"People should come enjoy the traditional Second Saturday Art Walk in the afternoon and then come check out the amazing talent we have lined up for Saturday night," event director Lee Seal said. "We plan on bringing thousands of people who may have never experienced a Second Saturday. I think it is a great way to showcase both events."

This year's patron party will be Sept. 13, before the festival gates open, on the Ship Island Excursions vessel Capt. Pete for a Jourdan River cruise complete with live music, food and drinks. Bay BridgeFest has taken place in Bay St. Louis every year since 2007. The Mississippi Tourism Association named it the 2012 Large Event of the Year, and it received the 2012 AAA Southern Travel Treasure Award.
