UPDATE: Missing 74-year-old George County man found safe

Authorities have found a 74-year-old George County man who went missing earlier today. Connie Johnston, a man suffering from a medical conditions, wandered away from his home in George County on Monday, according to Warren Strain, Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman.

He was found safe later this evening.

Johnston walked away from his home in the Central Community of George County around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

The family says Johnston had a stroke and suffers from breathing problems, all of which require him to take medication.
