James Carville and Mary Matalin to sign 'Love & War' tonight at Barnes and Noble

Political power couple James Carville and Mary Matalin will sign copies of their latest book "Love & War" from 5-6 p.m. today at Barnes and Noble in the Crossroads Shopping Center just north of I-10 at U.S. 49 in Gulfport.

James "The Ragin' Cajun" Carville is a well-known political consultant, who has facilitated political victories for candidates from more than 20 countries around the globe. He also is a best-selling author, actor, producer, talk-show host, speaker and restaurateur. He currently serves as a Professor of Practice at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he lives with his wife Matalin and their two daughters.

Matalin is one of the most celebrated and popular conservative voices in America. She has served under President Ronald Reagan, was the campaign director to president George H.W. Bush and assistant to President George W. Bush, and assistant and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney. Currently, Matalin co-hosts the radio program "Both Sides Now" and is a frequent guest commentator on various news networks.

A portion of tonight's book sales will benefit United Way of South Mississippi.
