GOP once again holds the edge on foreign policy

Republicans have regained their foreign policy edge, according to research on

Democrats held that edge from 2005 to 2011 but the gap between the two began widening last year. Neither is trusted on foreign policy by 50 percent of Americans. The GOP is near 45 percent and the Democrats are below 35 percent, according a poll cited by the blog.

Harry Enten, senior political writer and analyst at fivethirtyeight, says you can expect Republicans to use the issue against President Barack Obama in the near future.
