Favre does an ad for Cochran

Posted on June 18, 2014

Brett Favre, a Super Bowl winner known for last-minute comebacks, is trying a hail Mary for Sen. Thad Cochran in the GOP Senate runoff. Cochran finished a close second to state Sen. Chris McDaniel in the June 3 Primary and some polls have Cochran behind for Tuesday's runoff.

Favre thinks Cochran has what it takes to turn it around.

"I've learned through football that strong leadership can be the difference between winning and losing," he said in the 30-second spot from the Chamber of Commerce. "And when it comes to our future, trust me, Mississippi can win."
