Southern Miss has had a total of five players sign MLB contracts recently after being selected earlier this month in the draft.

The school announced Wednesday that outfielder Mason Robbins, closer Bradley Roney and starting pitcher Conor Fisk have all signed with Major League squads.

USM has also lost a pair of signees to MLB contracts - catcher Blake Anderson of West Lauderdale and left-handed pitcher Justin Steele of George County.

Robbins signed with the White Sox, Roney inked with the Braves and Fisk has joined the Blue Jays.

Anderson decided to sign with the Marlins and Steele recently signed with the Cubs.

Junior pitcher Taylor Nunez was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 29th round earlier this month.
