Tennessee offensive lineman headed to Mississippi State

Posted by JAMES JONES on June 7, 2014

Signal Mountain (TN) offensive lineman Harrison Moon is leaving the state of Tennessee and chooses Mississippi State.

Moon stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs 260 pounds, but the Bulldogs will develop his frame into a elite SEC offensive lineman. He will likely be redshirted in 2015 and compete for a starting role his second year.

MSU has produced NFL offensive linemen under coach Dan Mullen, including Oakland Raiders guard Gabe Jackson, a second-round pick last month.

The Bulldogs are also in pursuit of Meridian quarterback J'Mar Smith.
