Voters who are planning to be out of town are running out of time if they want to vote in the Tuesday primary.

GOP Executive Director Brandon Payne said the deadline for casting an absentee ballot in person at the circuit clerk's office is noon Saturday. Mailed absentee ballots must be received (not postmarked) by Monday, he said.

He said keep in mind that beginning with the Tuesday primary, all Mississippians voting at the polls will be required to show a photo ID card. For more info please visit the Secretary of State’s website.
