Southern Miss basketball coach Doc Sadler has announced the signing of a second guard in the last week a day after former USM signee Jaysean Paige signed with West Virginia Tuesday.

Six-foot-2 Dallas Anglin, who played under current USM assistant Jeremy Cox at Southern Idaho, signed with Southern Miss on Tuesday. He is a native of Montclair, N.J.

Anglin averaged 13.4 assists and 3.9 assists this past season. He was dismissed from Hofstra as a freshman when he was connected with a dorm theft ring involving three other Hofstra basketball players.

Anglin joins recent USM signee Kevin Holland, a 6-foot-1 guard from Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Former USM coach Donnie Tyndall, who is now at Tennessee, has recently signed two former USM signees, forward Willie Carmichael and guard Devon Baulkman.

College of Central Florida point guard Rasham Suarez and Gray Military Academy forward Davaris McGowens, who stands 6-foot-6, remain committed to USM.
