Booker, Newman make USA Today's third-team

Moss Point guard Devin Booker and Callaway guard Malik Newman each earned third team honors on USA Today's prep basketball team.

Booker, a Kentucky signee, averaged 31 points a game this season. He signed with Kentucky and made the McDonald's All-American team.

Newman, a junior, produced 29 points in leading the Chargers to a third straight 5A crown. He's considered the nation's top-ranked Junior.
