Moriah Minnis signs soccer scholarship at MGCCC

Posted by JAMES JONES on April 1, 2014

Former Stone High soccer standout Moriah Minnis will officially join the girls' team at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College next year.

Minnis, who sat out the 2013-2014 season for personal reasons, will join the Lady Bulldogs' squad during the fall.

Minnis earned Sun Herald All-South Mississippi honors during the 2012-2013 season after scoring 20 goals and making 10 assists for the Lady Tomcats.

The Lady Bulldogs' freshmen class also includes Gautier's Erin Dawe and Pascagoula's Jamie Dufault.

Gulf Coast will have a shot at winning the South Division, MACJC state and Region 23 championships next season.
