Taylor will have official kickoff Monday

Posted on March 28, 2014

Congressman Gene Taylor watches as the shrimp boat Garrett's Dream is removed from the Pass Christian Harbor on Thursday. The boat was washed ashore by Hurricane Gustav's storm surge.

Looks like Gene Taylor's campaign to unseat U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo might be ready for takeoff.

He'll have the official kick Monday starting at 5  p.m. at the Biloxi Visitors Center, 1050 Beach Blvd.

Taylor will face Palazzo, Tavish Kelly, Ron Vincent and Tom Carter in the June 3 primary.
