Former MGCCC CB Zavian Bingham lands at Southwest

Posted by JAMES JONES on March 22, 2014

Cornerback Zavian Bingham, who played at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College two years ago, is now at Southwest. He sat out last season at MGCCC because of academics, according to JCgridiron.com.

Bingham is now considered one of the nation's top JUCO cornerbacks and has verbally committed to Middle Tennessee State University. His other offers from Division I schools were Troy and Utah State.

The 5-foot-10 Bingham plans to graduate in December and sign during the Mid-year signing period.

"I have two friends there, and it would be great to play with them again," Bingham told JCGridiron.com. "They said they think I can come in and be the starter."
