HARRISON COUNTY -- Deputies arrested two teenagers Monday on charges alleging they stole two all-terrain vehicles in January.
Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said Wednesday that Dakota Peter Bates, 18, of Pass Christian, and Devin Lee Bates, of Waveland, were arrested on charges of grand larceny.
Brisolara said two Honda ATVs were reported stolen Jan. 14 from Brandon's ATV Service on Cleo Smith Road in Pass Christian.
The ATVs were later found in a wooded area near the intersection of Hightower Road and McDonald Road in Pass Christian, Brisolara said, and further investigation revealed the teens had stolen the vehicles.
Devin Bates and Dakota Bates were held at the Harrison County jail in lieu of $100,000 bonds set by Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray.
