3 New York men arrestedin Ala. on drug charges
GRAND BAY, Ala. -- Sheriff's officials in Mobile County, Ala., say three New York men on their way to New Orleans with a cache of illegal drugs have been booked into the county jail.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Lori Myles tells AL.com that 28-year-old Douglas Boehlert and 31-year-old Aaron Peskowitz, both of Utica, N.Y., and 30-year-old Scott Schrader of Clinton, N.Y., were pulled over on Interstate 10 Monday because their car was swerving.
Myles says the responding officer was greeted with the smell of marijuana when he approached the vehicle.
Myles says police found 300 ecstasy pills, several suspected hash oils, homemade candles and pacifiers. Myles says pacifiers are typically dipped in hallucinogenic drugs and sold on the street.
The men are charged with drug trafficking and possession. It's unclear if they have attorneys.
