Louisville offers scholarships to Pascagoula pair

Two of Pascagoula's top rising seniors received scholarship offers from Louisville on Thursday, Pascagoula head coach Lewis Sims said.

Receiver Jaylen Smith and defensive end Marshean Joseph both have scholarship offers from the Cardinals.

Smith recently received his first offer from Ole Miss following a stellar junior season. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver is sure to have many more offers headed his way.

Joseph is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive end who transferred to Pascagoula from Gautier prior to last season. He quickly worked his way into the Pascagoula starting lineup and had a nice junior campaign.
