I just watched a debate on a Sunday morning talk show on "climate change" -- you know previously "global warming" (Recently changed to "climate change" because global warming got a bad name due to fudging of the data and facts not supporting their predictions and who can argue the climate doesn't change).
Bill Nye, scientist/TV personality (not a climatologist) debated a congresswoman, who admitted she did not know a lot of the facts.
Nye repeated the mantra from the left that it is a foregone conclusion that any event, snowstorms, extreme cold, drought, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes etc. that happens is due to "climate change" (formerly "global warming"), which is caused by burning of fossil fuels.
And of course he mentioned, who can argue with "climate change?"
Climate change has occurred since Day 1.
Periods of changing climate have occurred for millions of years, some very extreme some not so extreme.
Of course, 99.999 percent of the climate changes that have occurred were before anyone ever heard of the term "fossil fuel."
During the debate, Mr. Nye flashed a picture and said, "Ice in the Antarctic is at an all-time low."
Google "ice in the Antarctic" and everything that comes up verifies that last year set an all-time record for the most ice in the Antarctic.
I guess this is how so many people get brainwashed with the foregone conclusion of a warming globe.
It's not hot or cold, it is whatever is currently going on, but whatever it is, they know it's a foregone conclusion that it is caused by burning fossil fuels.
This has been an unusually cold winter here on the Coast and throughout the entire country, but I predict it will be warmer in July.
