Catie Lee Bruni of Gulfport dished out two assists as the South defeated the North 2-0 in the Mississippi Association of Coaches 19th annual All-Star Girls Soccer Game.
The game was played Saturday at Arrow Field in Clinton.
It was the fifth straight win for the South in the overall series, which the North leads 10-7-2.
Payton Roney of West Jones scored on a pass from Bruni to enable the South to take a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Bruni got the assist on the goal by West Jones' Beth Coleman.
Brandon goalkeeper Katie Pearson had the shutout for the South.
Bruni was awarded the Coca-Cola Student Athlete Award presented for academic achievement, leadership, and athletic excellence.
Joe Falla Sr. of Sacred Heart coached the South.
