Maurice Stephens scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as West Harrison beat St. Martin 67-64 on Tuesday at the West Harrison Gymnasium. Stephens' 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left was the game-winner. Harvey Smart added 10 and Julius Burkhalter had 10 for the Hurricanes (24-2).
St. Martin (19-8) was led by Ed Simpson's 22 points. Rodrick Sikes added 17 and Jamond Franklin scored 15.
Bay High boys 55, Hancock 50: Kelton Piernas scored 19 points and Conner Ladner 18 as Bay High (9-14) rallied from a double-digit halftime deficit to beat rival Hancock. Levi Strong had 12 points for Hancock and Dylan Arcement added 10.
Biloxi boys 76, Picayune 57: Zach Parker fired in 16 points as Biloxi (13-7) won its third game in a row. Mousa Hasan added 11 points on Senior Night. Shemar Williams led Picayune with 25 points.
Pascagoula girls 61, Stone 29: Kenosha Fairley scored 17 points for the Lady Panthers (14-4). Aliayah Tubbs added 12 and Jailin Cherry scored 10.
Biloxi girls 54, Picayune 45: Domonique Evans scored 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots for the Indians (9-14). Ariel McDaniel added 13 and Sahjada Edwards had 12. Picayune was led by Maya Whitehead's 14 points.
D'Iberville girls 73, Long Beach 52: Maggie Kemp scored 21 points for the Lady Warriors (14-9). Lynsie Rushing added 15.
West Harrison girls 62, St. Martin 52: Ameysha Williams scored 20 points to lead the Lady Hurricanes and Asia Thibodeaux added 14. Deona Morgan led the Lady Jackets (18-9) with 20 points and five rebounds. Terrica Brown added 15, Whitney Williams finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Ocean Springs girls 37, Moss Point 36: D.J. Blackston scored 14 points to lead the Lady Greyhounds (6-15).
Gautier 42, George County 35: Trivelle Broyles scored 14 points and Lafayette Rutledge added 13 for the Gators (15-9, 4-2 Division 7-5A). Steve Justice led the Rebels with 12 points.
