Gulfport man arrested on possession charge with intent to distribute
GULFPORT -- Police arrested 21-year-old Jacolby Demetri Foxworth of Gulfport on Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Police Chief Leopnard Papania said Foxworth was arrested after someone called police to say a man was chasing another man with a knife and provided descriptions.
Papania said upon arrival, patrol officers found Foxworth, who matched the caller's description, and discovered he was in possession of an undisclosed amount of marijuana.
Foxworth was held at the Harrison County jail in lieu of a $15,000 bond set by Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner.
The investigation continues, Papania said.
