Alabama lands Central-Tuscaloosa OL for 2015

Alabama just won the national football title in recruiting, but the Crimson Tide has already started for next year.

At it's Junior Day last weekend, the Crimson Tide landed a verbal commitment from Central-Tuscaloosa offensive guard Lester Cotton.

Cotton was so excited about the hometown offer that he abruptly ended his future recruitment at the Capstone.  Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU and Louisville all offer Cotton a scholarship.

"Today was the day to do what is best for me and my family," Cotton told Tidesports.com last weekend. "When I first walked in the building I rushed into Coach Saban's office. He was telling me I had an offer from the camp.

"He said people commit and then take other trips. It makes him nervous. I told him this is where I want to be. This is home. It seemed like a whole lot of pressure came off me and him."

The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Cotton is talented as he shined at the Under Armour camp last month.
