Gulfport Helps Celebrate Young Boy's Last Chemo Treatment with Tour of Fire Station

Evan Heidingsfelder, 5, toured the Gulfport Central Fire Station with his family, getting to slide down the pole and take a ride in a fire truck. Gulfport Mayor Billy Hewes invited Evan to City Hall and to tour the fire station to celebrate a milestone. Evan, who has been battling leukemia for three years, completed his last chemotherapy treatment and is in long-term remission.
