Southern Miss gets its first 2 signees

Posted by PATRICK MAGEE on February 5, 2014

Southern Miss has announced its first two signees of the day.

Suwanee, Ga., linebacker Aaron Harris of Peachtree Ridge High School was the first player to sign with the Golden Eagles this morning.

He is expected to join teammate teammate Walden Davis, a safety, as one of today's USM signees.

The other signee comes on the offensive side of the ball in the form of fullback Daythan Davis, who could play in the H-back role at Southern Miss.

Davis played at Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas, a program that caused some controversy with the huge numbers it put up on offense this season.

Both Davis and Harris are rated two-star prospects by Scout.com.
