Report: South Florida commit switches to USM

Posted by PATRICK MAGEE on February 1, 2014

Georgia Military linebacker LeGrande Harley has switched his verbal commitment from South Florida to Southern Miss, GoldenEaglePride.com reports.

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Harley is rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com.

Harley will have two years of eligibility remaining once he arrives at Southern Miss. He should have the opportunity to earn plenty of snaps at USM with a lack of depth at linebacker.

Harley, who received an in-house visit from head coach Todd Monken on Monday, is originally from Southern Durham High School in Durham, N.C.
