Winter weather expected Tuesday on the Mississippi Gulf Coast has forced changes in the Pascagoula School District's athletics schedule.

The Pascagoula girls soccer team will now host Long Beach at 6 p.m. today in the first round of the playoffs. The Pascagoula boys team will host Picayune at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Pascagoula boys and girls teams were originally scheduled to play a twinbill on Tuesday.

The Pascagoula-Ocean Springs and Gautier-Stone basketball games set for Tuesday have been canceled.

The Pascagoula-Gautier boys basketball game that was halted in the third quarter Friday with the Panthers leading 30-23, will be resumed at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 6.
