Breeland Speaks enjoys visit to LSU

Callaway defensive end Breeland Speaks enjoyed his visit to LSU so much that the Tigers are in the mix.

The 6-foot-5 Speaks remains committed to Ole Miss, but LSU has a shot to land his services on Feb. 5, National Signing day.

"It was a great visit," Speaks told Tigerbait.com.  "I got to meet a couple of players and talked to some of the guys and Coach (Les) Miles. LSU's definitely in the hunt right now."

Speaks will visit Ole Miss this weekend and told the LSU Rivals' website, he expects a visit from Miles or his coaching staff before signing day.

"I'll know for sure later on," Speaks said. "But right now I'm just taking it all in."

As a senior, Speaks had a career-high 118 tackles, 26 ½ tackles for losses, 10 quarterback hurries and 9 sacks.
