Former USM OC Arroyo officially named to Tampa Bay staff

Posted by PATRICK MAGEE on January 9, 2014

Former Southern Miss offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo is officially a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff.

Arroyo's departure has been well reported in recent days and Tampa Bay made it official on Thursday.

Arroyo joins Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford, who Arroyo worked under as an offensive assistant at California. Tedford served as the head coach at Cal from 2002-12.

Todd Monken said when he was announced as USM head coach that he would his own offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, but Arroyo played a major role in the development of the USM offense during the 2013 season.
