Booker nominated for McDonald's All-Star Games

Posted by PATRICK MAGEE on January 7, 2014

Moss Point senior guard Devin Booker was one of nearly 1,000 high school basketball stars listed among nominations for the McDonald's All-American Games in a Tuesday announcement.

Booker is the lone Mississippian on the list and one of four Kentucky signees.

The teams for the McDonald All-American games will be revealed at 5 p.m. on Jan. 29 on ESPNU. The games will be played at the United Center in Chicago on April 2.

Booker recently eclipsed the 2,000-point mark in his Moss Point career, becoming just the third Tiger to do so.

Booker is averaging 31.3 points a game this season.

Moss Point (4-11) plays at Bay High at 7 p.m. today.
