Booker reaches 2,000-point mark in Moss Point victory

— Devin Booker reached 2,000 points in his career as Moss Point beat St. Stanisulaus, 69-57, Friday at Brother Peter Gymnasium in Bay St. Louis.

Booker entered the game needing 26 points to clear the 2,000-point mark and he reached 27 points with a lay-up following a Marcus Watson assist with 3:30 remaining in the game.

Booker ended the contest with a game-high 34 points.

Moss Point improved to 4-11 and 1-0 in Division 8-4A with the victory.

Jerrod Rigby led St. Stanislaus with 24 points.
