Booker scores 38 in Moss Point loss

Devin Booker scored 38 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as Moss Point fell Friday in the Holiday Invitational in Raleigh, N.C.

Clayton (N.C.) beat Moss Point, 77-64, on the strength of 35 points, 22 rebounds and nine blocks from Cincinnati signee Gary Clark.

Most of Booker's points came at the free throw line as he hit 22-of-24 attempts from the foul line.

Junior point guard Marcus Watson added 11 points for Moss Point (3-10).

Moss Point will play a third game in the tournament on Sunday against an undetermined opponent.
