Quantrell Reddix commits to Louisiana-Lafayette

Posted by JAMES JONES on December 14, 2013

D'Iberville running back Quantrell Reddix has verbally committed to Louisiana-Lafayette. He told the Sun Herald his decision on Saturday.

The Rajun Cajuns offered Reddix a scholarship during the season and he chose the Sun Belt Conference school.

Reddix ran for 1,310 yards as the Warriors (9-3) won the Region 4-6A championship. He made the Sun Herald's All-South Mississippi football team twice.

The 6-foot-2 210-pound Reddix has already qualified academically, but needs to get certified through the NCAA clearing house next spring.
