Craig provides nasty dunk for Southern Miss (video)

Southern Miss forward Michael Craig will likely be one of the strongest and most athletic forwards in Conference USA this season, and he gave fans a glimpse of what he's capable of during Sunday's 99-54 win over William Carey.

Craig grabbed an errant pass, raced down the court and jumped over a William Carey player on his way to a dunk that livened up the crowd at Reed Green Coliseum in Hattiesburg.

Craig missed most of the C-USA schedule last year with a foot injury, but he's looking good early on for the Golden Eagles.

USM improved to 6-0 with the win over William Carey and is ranked No. 36 in RPI according to ESPN.com.

The Golden Eagles take the court again at 6 p.m. on Friday when they travel to take on defending national champion Louisville, which is ranked No. 3 in the nation.
