Nation's top prep player chooses Alabama

Woodbridge (Va.) defensive end D'Shawn Hand, considered the nation's top prospect, chose Alabama over Michigan and Florida on Thursday.

Hand attended the Crimson Tide's 38-17 win over LSU last weekend at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

"I got to see to the campus outside of football at a camp, and I saw the game day atmosphere," Hand told Rivals.com.  "I know I'm not going to be No. 1 on the depth chart. It was hard, but I think I made the right decision. Roll Tide."
