Pascagoula's Crawford receives scholarship offer

Posted by PATRICK MAGEE on November 4, 2013

— Delta State offered a football scholarship to Pascagoula senior offensive lineman Keith Crawford over the weekend.

It's the first scholarship offer from a four-year school for the 6-foot, 305-pound offensive tackle.

Crawford also has a scholarship offer from Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit.

Crawford, who starts at left tackle for the Panthers, said that the Delta State coaching staff would like to have him play guard for the Statesmen.

Crawford is the defending Class 5A state power-lifting champion in the super heavyweight division.

Delta State is a Division II program in the Gulf South Conference.
