Jarran Reed has Alabama high on his college choices

Posted by JAMES JONES on September 28, 2013

East Mississippi defensive tackle Jarran Reed is strongly considered two-time defending champion Alabama. He signed with Florida, but didn't qualify.

Reed will have two years left and plans to sign during the Mid-year Signing Period in December.

"I spoke with mostly all the coaches," he told Tidesports.com. "They were saying they want me to come back. They could use my help this year on the defense line. Coach Saban said they are losing some guys this year. He said they need some experience to come in and help them out.

"My relationship with the Alabama staff is pretty good. I knew them well from last year. I still had that same feeling I had about Alabama from last year. Even though they came on late I had a good relationship with those guys."
