There will be plenty of talent from East Jackson County on the field when Jones County Junior College hosts Pearl River Community College at 7 p.m. Saturday in a big rivalry contest.

The Bobcats are 2-0 under head coach Ray Perkins as they prepare for the game while PRCC sports a record of 1-1 after last week's victory over Mississippi Delta.

Three JCJC players are East Jackson County products - freshman defensive lineman Justice Coleman of Gautier, freshman offensive lineman Tyrone Patterson of Gautier and sophomore offensive lineman Levell Hartfield of Moss Point.

The Pascagoula roster features five freshmen from East Jackson County - linebacker Stacy Warren of Pascagoula, defensive back Jamarl Holloway of Gautier, defensive back Antwone Mitchell of Moss Point, long snapper Bobby Daggett of Pascagoula and Moss Point defensive lineman Tchaikovsky Catlett.

The Wildcats are in their first season under head coach William Jones while Perkins is in his second season in Ellisville.

Jones held off PRCC for a 39-34 victory last season.
