Alabama, Mississippi State offer Lester Cotton

Posted by JAMES JONES on September 7, 2013

Central-Tuscaloosa offensive tackle Lester Cotton has landed scholarship offers from Mississippi State and Alabama.

Cotton is a 6-foot-4, 305-pound lineman and considered one of the top juniors in the state of Alabama and the Southeast.

He had an impressive showing at both the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs camps this summer, boosting his stock.

While Cotton has 18 months to make a decision, he instantly put one school in the lead.

"I have always been an Alabama fan," Cotton recently told Tidesports.com. "Even when I was living up there in Illinois, I was an Alabama fan. I was offered by Mississippi State. I like them, but I love Alabama."
