Former Picayune star set to make MLB debut

Picayune product T.J. House is set to make his major league debut after being called up by the Cleveland Indians on Monday.

House is a left-handed starting pitcher who was 1-7 with a 5.37 ERA in 11 starts this season for the Triple-A Columbus Clippers.

House was a 16th round draft pick by the Indians in the 2008 draft.

The Indians optioned pitcher Carlos Carrasco to Columbus to make room for House.
