Alabama adds another QB recruit

Posted by JAMES JONES on June 22, 2013

Alabama's hunt for A.J. McCarron's successor in 2014 took another interesting twist with the recent verbal committment of David Cornwell.

Getting Cornwell, a pro-style signal-caller in the mold of McCarron, was huge because Alabama took him out of Normal, Oklahoma. The Sooners also need a quarterback for next year's class.

The 6-foot-5 Cornwell ranks third by for pro-style quarterbacks.
