Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College safety Derrick Moncrief has verbally committed to play at Auburn.

The Tigers offered him a scholarship on Tuesday and he made his decision three days later.

"I feel like it's so exciting. I love the coaching staff, I like the atmosphere around Auburn. It's fantastic and it's a championship school," Moncrief told AuburnSports.com.
