Hinds DL heading to NFL Draft

Posted by JAMES JONES on April 4, 2013

Hinds Community College defensive lineman Risean Broussard made himself available for the NFL Draft.

Broussard turned pro because he wouldn't have been eligible to play college football at Division I or Division I-AA. His eligibity status began in 2010. He was out of football a few years and played for the Eagles last year.

"I really got full of myself and didn't think I had to go to class or study or anything like that," Broussard told JCFootball.com.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Broussard is considered a longshot to get drafted, but his athleticism may be too good to pass up.
